Limbrunner Project Management was founded on a single conviction: institutional owners deserve an expert advocate who is solely focused on their success.
Our Story
Limbrunner Project Management was established to fill a critical gap in the Chicago construction market — experienced, independent representation for owners who are building complex facilities but don't have the in-house expertise to manage the process themselves or need to suplement their staff.
After decades working on major healthcare, education, and retail projects across the region, our principal recognized that owners were consistently underserved. Owners need someone in their corner — from the first planning meeting to the day the ribbon is cut.
Today, Limbrunner Project Management serves as a trusted extension of our clients' leadership teams, bringing the same rigor, transparency, and accountability to every project regardless of size.

Susan Limbrunner
Susan Limbrunner brings over 30 years of design, construction and project management experience to every engagement. Her career spans major healthcare systems, school campuses, and retail facilities throughout the Chicagoland area.
Before founding Limbrunner Project Management, Susan held senior roles at regional architecture firms and served as an in-house Project Manager/Owner's Representative for a major Chicago-area health system — giving her a firsthand understanding of what institutional owners need from their project teams.
Susan holds a degree in Architecture and is a licensed Architect in the State of Illinois. She is an active member of the Chicago Women in Heathcare (WIH) and the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE).
